Definitions:

The Publisher: The natural or legal person who publishes online public communication services.

Browsing the Site does not require registration or prior identification. You can access it without providing personally identifiable information (name, address, etc.). We do not record personal data for simple browsing of the Site.

Geolocation

Geolocation for service provision
We collect and process your geolocation data to provide our services. We may use personal data to determine your real-time geographic location. In accordance with your right to object under French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, you may deactivate geolocation functions at any time.
 

Geolocation for cross-referencing purposes
We collect and process your geolocation data to allow our services to identify intersection points in time and space with other Users of the service in order to present cross-user profiles. In accordance with your right to object under French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, you may deactivate geolocation functions at any time. You acknowledge that the service will then no longer be able to present other users’ profiles.
 

Geolocation shared with partners for referencing and aggregation (with opt-in)
We may collect and process your geolocation data with our partners. We commit to anonymizing the data used. In accordance with your right to object under French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, you may deactivate geolocation functions at any time.

Collection of Device Data

Collection of profiling and technical data for service provision
Some technical data from your device are automatically collected by the Site. This includes your IP address, Internet provider, hardware configuration, software configuration, browser type and language, etc. The collection of these data is necessary for providing the services.
 

Collection of technical data for advertising, commercial, and statistical purposes
Technical data from your device are automatically collected and recorded by the Site for advertising, commercial, and statistical purposes. These data help us personalize and continuously improve your experience on our Site. We do not collect or store any personal data (name, address, etc.) potentially linked to technical data. Collected data may be resold to third parties.

Cookies

Cookie retention period
In accordance with CNIL recommendations, the maximum retention period for cookies is 13 months after their first deposit on the User’s device, as well as the validity of the User’s consent to the use of these cookies. The cookie lifespan is not extended with each visit. User consent must therefore be renewed at the end of this period.

Retention and Anonymization of Personal Data

Retention during contractual relationship
In accordance with Article 6-5° of French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, personal data processed are not retained beyond the time necessary to perform the obligations defined at the conclusion of the contract or the predetermined duration of the contractual relationship.
 

Retention of anonymized data after contractual relationship / account deletion
We retain personal data only for the duration strictly necessary to achieve the purposes described in these Terms. Beyond this period, data will be anonymized and kept for statistical purposes only, without any other use.
 

Data deletion after account removal
Data purge procedures are in place to ensure effective deletion once the retention or archiving period necessary for the intended purposes is reached. In accordance with French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, you also have the right to delete your data at any time by contacting the Publisher.
 

Data deletion after 3 years of inactivity
For security reasons, if you have not logged into the Site for three years, you will receive an email asking you to log in promptly; otherwise, your data will be deleted from our databases.

Account Deletion

Account deletion upon request
The User may delete their Account at any time, either by simple request to the Publisher OR via the Account deletion menu in the Account settings if available.
 

Account deletion in case of Terms violation
In the event of a violation of one or more provisions of the Terms or any other document incorporated by reference, the Publisher reserves the right to terminate or restrict, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, your use and access to services, your account, and all Sites.

Security Breach Notification

User notification in case of security breach
We commit to implementing all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security adapted to the risks of accidental, unauthorized, or illegal access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction of your personal data. In the event of illegal access to your personal data stored on our servers or those of our providers, or unauthorized access resulting in the risks described above, we commit to:

  • Notify you of the incident as soon as possible,
  • Investigate the causes of the incident and inform you,
  • Take reasonable measures to mitigate negative effects and damages resulting from the incident.

 

Limitation of liability
Under no circumstances shall the commitments defined above regarding breach notification be construed as any acknowledgment of fault or liability for the occurrence of the incident.

Transfer of Personal Data Abroad

No transfer outside the European Union
The Publisher commits not to transfer Users’ personal data outside the European Union.

Modification of Terms and Privacy Policy

Commitment not to substantially lower privacy standards without prior notice
We commit to informing you of any substantial changes to these Terms and not to lower the level of your data privacy without notifying you and obtaining your consent.

Applicable Law and Remedies

Arbitration Clause
You expressly agree that any dispute arising from these Terms, including interpretation or execution, shall be subject to arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration platform, to which you shall adhere without reservation.

Data Portability

Data portability
The Publisher commits to providing you with all your personal data upon request. This ensures better control of your data and allows you to reuse it. Data will be provided in an open and easily reusable format.
